$10 for a tent site and free warm showers! $1 to get in if you're just coming to fish for the day. Great swing sets. Don't forget the DEET!

We have camped our way South from Maine and this is the best campground we have been to. Donald is extremely kind and knowledgeable. We feel extremely lucky to have been able to camp here and meet him.

What an awesome place at the tip of nowhere . We wanted a very secluded place and this was it .

We discovered this park and campground while staying nearer to Morgan City at another campground. We liked it so well we left our other campground a day early so we could spend time here. It's one of the few places in South Louisiana with access to the Gulf and the price of a full hookup campsite on the water was $14. You read that right $14. Victor was the guy in charge while we were there and he and his wife are just great people and a pleasure to be around. Everyone staying at the park was very friendly and respectful of one another. The bathhouse was old but kept as clean as possible. Who cares with full hookups! There's no WiFi but again, who cares! You're on the Gulf of Mexico and have sunrises, sunsets and beautiful scenery to entertain yourself with. There's cellular towers nearby, so you'll have that if you need to check your email or facebook. We heard stories and saw photos of bears and alligators but didn't see any ourselves. The fishing looked to be really good, a young guy at the camper next door was catching redfish off the boat docks. The views of the Gulf are spectacular. You'll pass by a lot of oil and gas industry and works while traveling down Rt. 317 from Highway 90 and cross a high bridge over the river before reaching the park at the end of the road. Bear right and you'll find it. I wish we could have stayed longer but we had reservations elsewhere and had to leave. This park is such a gem and seems to be little known, I hope more people can make it there to camp and enjoy it.

Small but good park. Boat landing and good fishing close by. The guy running it was very nice. The bathrooms are beyond filthy, the only downside.
